Get to Know Me!

I've always been fond of writing in general, but poetry is what I have loved. My senior year of high school I took a creative writing class that opened my heart to all types of creative writing and journaling. I've created RiahsCorner as a safe space for discussions that interest me. I love to talk and this is a great way for me to get some of my ideas out of my head haha. 
I am currently a transfer junior at University of Central Arkansas and I graduated from High School during the start of the pandemic. So, the transition from high school to college was a weird one to say the least, but I did it the best way I could. Most of the content here will be focused around being a young adult and my college experience in some way. I hope something I mention can be of help to future or current college students and young adults!
I have a love for creating so I may talk about the things I make sometimes. I'm a sucker for diy and homemade gifts and if you are too, stick around a while! I'll be sure to share some diy tips and homemade gift ideas that are college budget friendly. I love trying new recipes and being in the kitchen. So I'll be sure to share some of my favorites and some dorm friendly ones.
